Kent Douglas Uitts, 68, of Iola, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at Olathe Medical Center.
Doug was born Feb. 1, 1958, in Iola, Kansas, to Pauline W. (Uitts) Cole. He married Lori Gilbert on Sept. 4, 2012, in Creston, Iowa.
Survivors include wife Lori; daughter, Kathy (Mathew) Brownfield and stepdaughter, Maria (Tommy) Sanchez.
A funeral service is at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Iola.
Memorials are suggested to the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with the funeral home.
