Jeannette Bell Hegwald, 56, Colony, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017.
Jeannette was born in Garnett on May 26, 1960, and grew up in Kansas and Colorado. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Shirley Osborne. She returned to Colony in 1976. On Aug. 20, 2004, she married Landon Hegwald. Jeannette worked at Haldex and Spirit Aerospace, where she made countless life-long friends.
Jeannette is survived by her husband, son Dustin Murry, Salina, son and daughter-in-law Clayton and Colleen Hegwald, Humboldt, sister Susan Dunn, Iola, and her cherished grandchildren, Summer, Zachary and Jayden.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Glenn Osborne, Iola.
Jeannette was an incredible woman who enjoyed spending time with her dogs, working in her flower garden, watching Sunday football games, listening to her wind chimes and spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of Jeannette’s life will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Humboldt.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
