Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Chastain, 78, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at her home in Hutchinson.
She was born July 26, 1947, in El Dorado, to Elvis Edwin and Catherine Esther (Grant) Sullivan.
On Feb. 12, 1966, she married Johnnie Earl Chastain in Wichita.
He survives, as do children, Craig (Amy) Chastain of North Carolina, Nikole (Dale) Cohen of New York, Catherine (Jeffrey) Diggs of Kansas and David (Kellie) Chastain of Kansas.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers and to honor her devotion to missions and the church, memorial contributions may be made to the AGK Ministry Network, directed through Elliott Mortuary, at 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
