Lana Lureen Tucker, age 76, of Garnett, died Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Richmond Healthcare and Rehab, Richmond.
She was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Independence, Mo., to Harvey and Dorothy (Lacy) Swope.
She married John Gordon Thorp Jr. in 1960; they later divorced. She married Thomas Tucker on April 19, 1985, and he passed away in 1998.
Survivors include son, John Gordon Thorp III of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; her daughter, Joni Tucker of Garnett; four grandsons, Aaron Tucker of Garnett; Colten Tucker of Iola; Tanner Thorp of Arizona; and Dathan McMurtrey of Gas and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday at First Christian Church, Garnett, with inurnment to follow in the Garnett Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett.
