Larry Russell Brutchin, age 84, of Iola, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his home.
Larry was born on May 28, 1941, in Grandview, Arkansas, to Orloff and Dorothy (Veal) Brutchin. When he was two years old, his family moved from Arkansas, to Le Roy, Kansas.
Larry served his country in the United States Navy, including service during the Vietnam era from 1961 to 1965.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Giglio and Marsha Elliott.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Brutchin, of the home; children, Jarred and wife Tonya Brutchin, and Jacey and husband Steve Heady; and four bonus children, Mike and wife Vicki Brooks, Travis Brooks, Chad and wife Monica Brooks, Curtis and wife Erika Kinney.
Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Highland Cemetery,
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Larry’s honor be made to Southern Coffey County High School Honor Flight, and left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
