Margaret “Maggie” Jane (Young) Chapman, 83, passed away on Oct. 5, 2025, at Carriage House Assisted Living, Denton, Texas, where she resided for over 25 years.
She was born in Council Grove, Kansas, and raised in both Neosho Falls and Chanute.
She is survived by her only child, Rick Larkey (Julie), originally of Iola and now living in Neodesha; and three siblings.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard A Chapman; and eight siblings.
Visitation and services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, at Harvest Baptist Church in Iola.
