Mrs. Marietta June Krannich Stevens died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, in Bethesda Health Care Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Grove, Texas.
She was born July 7, 1925, in Iola, to the late Otto Roland and Nellie Elizabeth Miller Krannich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. J. Stevens, and a niece, Stephanie Bell Buscher.
Mrs. Stevens worked as a secretary. She moved to Tullahoma, Tenn., after her husband’s death and was a volunteer at Harton Regional Medical Center. She attended Life Church since moving to Cookeville, Tenn., in 2007.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Sandra Guidry of Littleton, Colo.; sister, Majorie Bell of Cookeville; brother, Herbert Krannich of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Julie (Mike) Yother of Cookeville, Lisa (Sam) Scogin, and Linda Crimm; and by great-nieces including Abigail and Bailey Yother.
