Former Iolan Michael Lee Peer Jr., 25, Topeka, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at his home.
Originally from New Jersey, Peer attended middle and high school in Iola with his brother, Scott, and his family. His grandmother, Marie Mercuro, still lives in Iola.
He is survived by a son, Cameron, 4.
A private memorial service is planned.
