Raymond Levan Robinson, 88, of Iola, formerly of Neosho Falls, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at his home.
He was born April 18, 1937, in Buffalo, the son of Levan and Lilotte (Reed) Robinson. He lived in the Buffalo, Yates Center and Fredonia areas and graduated from Fredonia High School. He worked at the brick plant in Buffalo until forced to retire due to an injury. He then worked doing odd jobs.
He was married to Barbara Jones and they became the parents of three children. They later divorced.
On June 9, 1997, he and Betty Tidd were married at Yates Center. They made their home in Neosho Falls until Betty’s passing on Aug. 17, 2018. Raymond was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steven Robinson in 2022; a daughter, Sandy Bruner in 2015; and 11 siblings.
He leaves his daughter, Jeny Stone, of Wichita; step-children, Jason Tarter (Jennifer), Gas, Kan., Misty Fleming (Bill), Iola, and Wendy Byerley (Teague), Pleasanton, Kan.; grandchildren, Abbie Witt (Justin) and Jimmy Robinson; 11 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorraine James, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Family burial services will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery at Neosho Falls.
The family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Campbell Funeral Home.
