Rusty Wellman of Humboldt, whose death Monday and Saturday funeral services were published in Thursday’s Register, was born in Charleston, S.C., on Sept. 8, 1966, to Kenneth Sr. and Nadine (Allen) Pergeson.
On May 25, 1995, he married Rebecca Hughes in Butler, Mo.
He worked as a production supervisor for Tramec.
Along with his wife he is survived by his parents; two daughters, Jessica Butler, Chanute, and Kristy Hughes, Salina; four grandsons, William Hughes, Westin Hughes and Wyatt Hughes, all of Humboldt, and Brody Butler, Chanute; three brothers, Teddy Wellman, Emporia, James Wellman, Cherryvale, and Kenny Pergeson Jr., Elsmore; and two sisters, Linda Rasby, Iola, and Bonnie Fangman, Eudora, Mo.
A sister, Penny Cox, died earlier.
