Sandra Sue Hoover, 86, Topeka, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025 at the Gardens of Aldersgate, Topeka.
Sue was born Sept. 25, 1938, in Toronto, to Buford H. Welch and Pauline G. (Dennis) Welch.
She and Gerald L. Hoover were married May 7, 1960, in Moran, Kansas, but later divorced.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Kate) Hoover of Overland Park and Traci (Tim) Hallacy of Topeka.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, followed by a funeral at 11 o’clock. in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola. Burial will follow in the Moran Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with the funeral home.
