Stephen Dale “Jake” Wools, 78, died Sept. 11, 2025, at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park.
He was born Jan. 13, 1950 in Garnett to Wayne and Sylvia Wools. He grew up in the Kincaid area and lived in Arizona and California before returning to Colony a few years ago.
A celebration of life service will be scheduled later.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Stephen Wools Memorial Fund, in care of Goppert State Service Bank in Colony, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
