James Tracy Dye, 70, of Muskogee, Okla., died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at his home.
He was born April 5, 1940, in Rialto, Calif., to Edward Neil and Mildred Grace (Davis) Dye. He lived in Iola most of his younger life.
He was a welder by trade and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, playing games on the computer and anything that would defy gravity.
He is survived by his companion, Brenda Webb, of the home; three daughters, Chrystal Dye and her companion, Mary Serene, Topeka, Sybil White and her husband, Dale, Roseburg, Ore., and Katie Dye, Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Neil, Weiser, Idaho, Richard and his wife, Joyce, LaHarpe, and Steve and his wife, Nancy, Porterville, Calif.; a sister, Eileen Bailey and her husband, Jim, Porterville; and four grandchildren, Jayme, Chelsea, Hali and Josh.
A son, James Tracy II, and two brothers, Clyde and Kenneth, died earlier.
Cremation & Funeral Service of Muskogee was in charge of arrangements.
