Vera Ellen Thurman, 95, of Iola and formerly of Erie and Beatrice, Neb., died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Iola Nursing Center.
She was the widow of C.R. “Pat” Thurman, who died Nov. 6, 1997.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Galesburg.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Erie.
Memorials to First Christian Church of Erie or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Beatrice may be left at the funeral home.
