William G. Shuster, 77, Elsmore, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, surrounded by his family.
William was born Oct. 6, 1940, in Pennsylvania to Joseph and Maude (Deamer) Shuster. He married Kristina Ruth Deer on Nov. 16 1972. He served in the U.S. Army 1963-1965. He spent a majority of his working years at Herff Jones in Iola and NuWa Industries in Chanute.
He is survived by his wife Kristina, Elsmore; children Robin (Shawn) Geil, Topeka, Charles (Trista) Shuster, Pittsburg, and Marcella (Tim) Mallams, Topeka; and grandchildren Makayla, Taylor, and Jacob.
A memorial service is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Elsmore United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
