Forty-two teenage golfers from 18 Kansas communities have entered the state Junior Chamber of Commerce golf tournament that will be held here Friday and Saturday. The young players headed here are considered the cream of the teenage crop. They are shooting at four free trips to the national Junior Chamber tournament at Houston, Aug. 2-7. A committee of Iola Jaycees, George Bowlus, Dr. Joe Littrell, Don Kelley, Arthur Brigham, Jr., Orville Kretzmeier and Wilbur Norton, are in charge of the tournament here.

Dr. Kent R. Dudley, Iola veterinarian, announced this morning he is retiring and has leased his building at 211 South St. to Dr. Eugene Myers of Iola and his uncle, Dr. B. L. Myers of Kansas City. Dr. Eugene Myers came to Iola about a year ago and located in an office at 14½ S. Washington. Dr. B. L. Myers is one of the founders of the Myers Clinic in Kansas City and will move to Iola soon.
