Dear Editor,
As many of you know, serving on a board of directors can be a tiring and thankless job. Often, the meeting times clash with family events or other personal and professional obligations. To serve on a board for more than one term is admirable; to serve for multiple terms is an accomplishment showing true dedication and selflessness.
The Board of Directors for the SEK Multi County Health Department would like to gratefully acknowledge 37 continuous years of service by our recently retired member, Joan Willis. Throughout her time on the board, Joan faithfully championed the best interests of our community. She never wavered in her commitment to making Allen County a healthier and better place to live.
