The Allen Community College men’s squad started off its 2015 regular season on a sour note Saturday.
The Red Devils fell 4-0 to Blue River Community College on the road in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Coach Doug Desmarteau, who is starting his 10th season as the men’s head coach, said he scheduled five difficult matchups — four on the road — to start the year in order to better prep the team when the conference slate arrives on Sept. 10.
Allen will continue its road battles in St. Louis on Friday against St. Charles Community College.
