The Burlington Invitational Tournament and the Pleasanton Midseason Tournament’s opening rounds were postponed after poor weather caused hazardous driving conditions in the greater southeastern Kansas area Tuesday afternoon.
Iola, which was scheduled to play its first round contests of the Burlington Tournament starting at 3:30 (girls) and 5:05 (boys), will now play on Thursday at the same times.
Pleasanton also moved back its Tuesday’s games, which featured Humboldt and Marmaton Valley, to Thursday.
The second and third round matchups for both tournaments will still take place on Friday and Saturday at the original times.
