PLEASANTON — Crest Middle School’s boys and girls began their basketball seasons Monday at Pleasanton.
The Crest boys notched a 42-18 victory over Pleasanton Junior High. Rene Rodriguez paced the Lancers with 16 points. Austin Green had 10 points.
Also scoring for Crest was Kyler Bowen with six points. Braden McGhee and Hunter Frazell each added four points. Kellen Ramsey had two points.
The CMS boys won the B-team game 28-14. Frazell ripped the cords for 18 points. Evan Godderez had six points and Garrett Sipe added four.
There was no report on the girls’ games.
The CMS teams play Northeast at Arma tonight.
