CHETOPA — Crest High’s girls lost a heartbreaker on the road Friday, falling 44-43 in double overtime.
Chetopa’s game-winner came with 1.3 seconds left at the end of the second extra session.
The Lady Lancers trailed 19-16 at halftime before cutting the deficit to 28-27 after three periods.
Madison Covey led Crest with 10 points, followed by Miranda Golden and Laurel Godderz with nine apiece. Emmalee Seabolt followed with six, Karlee Hammond with five and Emily Frank with four. Taryn Covey scored two.
The Lady Lancers host Olpe Tuesday.
