COLONY — Cole Bowen, Crest High senior, earned the overall championship in the 148-pound class of the Kansas Eight-Man Football Association’s 2012 Power Lifting contest.
The contest was April 12-14 at Quivira Heights High School in Bushton.
Bowen had a combined weight total of 765 pounds to win his class.
He was first in the clean lift at 240 pounds, second in the squat at 315 pounds and third in the bench press at 210 pounds.
