UNIONTOWN — Uniontown High’s softball team notched a 3-2 win over Neodesha Friday. All the runs were scored in the third inning.
Tayler Shook was the winning pitcher. She gave up one hit, walked five and hit one batter. She struck out 12.
Tiffany Poyner had two singles for the Eagles. Hitting a single each were Shook, Rayma Ridge, Cassie Schwalm and Audrey Dixon.
Neodesha won a junior varsity game 10-9 in six innings.
Uniontown plays Tyro Christian today then takes on Central Heights Thursday and Jayhawk-Linn on Friday.
