The Iola volleyball team went 0-2 on Tuesday on the road at Anderson County, falling to the Lady Bulldogs and Bur-lington.
The Fillies opened up with an 0-2 loss to Burlington (21-25, 18-25).
Junior Piper Moore led the way offensively with six kills and three aces followed by Colbi Riley with four kills and an ace.
Riley and Maddy Carlin each chipped in half a block.
Iola then took on host Anderson County and came close to coming out with a win but fell short, losing 1-2 (14-25, 25-16, 23-25).
Moore had 17 kills and two aces in the loss while Riley had seven.
Riley also led the way defensively, putting up a team-high 2.5 blocks and four digs.
Iola will host Santa Fe Trail and Osawatomie next Tuesday for Senior Night.
