Freshman Alex Hill, Iola, pitched the second game for Allen County Community College last Saturday. A mix-up in statistics from ACCC had the incorrect pitcher for the second game.
The Red Devils won both games against Maple Woods Community College to begin the 2011 season.
Hill pitched an eight-inning game as the teams were tied 2-2 at the end of regulation seven innings. The Red Devils won 3-2. Hill allowed five hits, walked five and struck out four.
