YATES CENTER — Humboldt Middle School’s volleyball team went 1-2 in matches Thursday at Yates Center.
The A-team lost 25-15, 25-14. Hylie Yost served four points for Humboldt while Hannah Hulett and Jessica Lytle each had three service points. Lyle had an ace. Briana Ames and Makaylah McCall each had one service point.
Humboldt’s B-team won 25-21, 25-21. Kendra McNutt had eight aces as she served 12 points. Annalise Whitcomb had five service points and Briana Yokum had three points.
Yates Center beat Humboldt in C-team play 25-11, 25-21. Kaitlyn Gonzalez and Kailyn Hammer had three points served each. Aspen Lawson, Nisha Ingle and Cara Bartlett each had two service points.
