Hoop Shoot participants on the mark

Twelve area youngsters will advance to a regional free throw shooting competition, thanks to their prowess Saturday at the Iola Elks Hoop Shoot.
The top two finishers in three age divisions — boys and girls have their separate competitions — will travel to Pittsburg Jan. 5 to compete at the district level.
