2-mile run, freshman Deegan Megenity finished 19th in 15:34, followed by fellow freshman Marcus Whitcomb, who took 28th after clearing the course in 16:35.
In the girls 2-mile, Humboldt sophomore Reagan Marple finished seventh overall after clearing the course in 17:42. Fellow sophomore Alexa Ellis nearly had a top 10 finish but settled for 11th with a time of 19:06, followed by sophomore Willow LaCrone (14, 20:14.68) and senior Savannah Koch (18th, 23:29).
The Cubs and Lady Cubs will have only a few days to rest as both teams are scheduled to compete in Thursday’s Central Heights Invitational.
