HUMBOLDT — Humboldt High didn’t let the sting of its first defeat of the season linger.
The Cubs bounced back in a big way Friday, steamrolling visiting Cherryvale 66-0.
The win lifts Humboldt’s record to 6-1 with one more regular season game remaining next Friday at West Franklin.
Elsewhere, Marmaton Valley fell to 5-2 with a 46-0 loss to Lebo.
Yates Center dropped a 64-14 decision to Flinthills.
Results from Crest’s game at Marais des Cygnes Valley and Southern Coffey County’s tilt at Altoona-Midway were not immediately available.
