COFFEYVILE — Iola High’s freshman volleyball team went 1-2 in match play at Coffeyville Tuesday.
The Fillies beat Coffeyville 25-8, 25-16. They lost 25-0, 25-7 to Chanute and lost 25-6, 25-12 to Pittsburg.
Mackenzie Weseloh, Paige Miller and Allie Cleaver led the team in serving. Weseloh and Karlie Lower were assist leaders. Miller and Alexis Hobbs were the leaders in kills at the net.
Those were the final matches of the season for the IHS freshmen.
There is no freshman volleyball tournament at Fredonia Saturday. Iola was to have hosted Coffeyville and Columbus next Tuesday but those matches have been cancelled.
