GARNETT — Iola High’s Gage Tomlinson carded a 62 over nine holes to take home the best round of the day among the Mustangs’ junior varsity golfers competing Monday at the Anderson County JV Invitational.
Iola’s team score of 285 was good for ninth among 11 schools.
Judd Wiltse scored a 69, 23 strokes lower than his previous outing, IHS head coach Doug Kerr noted. Noah Westervelt shot a 74 and Raven Skillman an 80.
Iola’s varsity golfers compete in their first Pioneer League meet of the season today at Osawatomie.
