Iola Middle School’s eighth-grade B-team decked Humboldt 43-10 Saturday here at IMS.
Adam Peterson fired in 14 points and had five rebounds for Iola. Tyler Holloway added 12 points.
Brock Peters handed out six assists, controlled seven rebounds and scored four points. Matt Jacobs and Travis Hermstein each had four points.
Kalob Mock had five rebounds and three points. Colton Storrer had two points.
Crays and Kolb each scored three points for Humboldt. Pulliam and Griffith scored two points apiece.
The IMS seventh-grade B-team won 18-15 led by Mason Key with eight points. Shane Armstrong chipped in six points.
Isiah Shaughnessy pulled down seven rebounds and scored two points. Trevor Cox had two points and four rebounds and Dodger Beckham controlled eight rebounds.
Pulliam tossed in eight points for Humboldt. Griffith scored five and Doolittle had two points.
Iola was to have hosted Independence for four games Monday but the inclement weather postponed the games.
The IMS teams are scheduled to go to Chanute Thursday.
