The Iola freshmen continued their undefeated streak Monday evening when they took down Chanute 68-30.
The Mustangs are 6-0 so far this season.
Iola led 23-16 after the first quarter and extended that by 15 before the half while holding Chanute to just one point. The offense exploded again in the third quarter scoring 24. The Blue Comets were held to 13. Each team scored five points in the fourth quarter to round out the win for Iola.
Dillon Bycroft had 20 points, all in the first three quarters. Bradyn Cole had 16 points and Landon Carson had 11 points. Isaac Badders and Nathan Louk had six points and Jack Adams, Josh Kaufman, Eli Smith and Dillon Slaven each had two points. Grant Luedke had a point.
Iola takes on Wellsville on Friday.
