Iola’s seventh-grade A-Team lost their first set against Prairie View on Monday, but rallied for a five-set victory.
The Fillies won the second set 25-15, but then dropped the third set, 25-21. With their backs against the wall they notched a 25-19 win in the fourth and took the fifth 15-10.
Reese Murry led her squad with nine kills.
B-TEAM
The Iola seventh-grade B-Team lost to Prairie View in four sets on Monday.
Elizabeth Baker, Vivian Noah and Harper Gregg were among the team’s top servers.
