Allen Community College freshman guard Clyde Davis Jr. headlined a host of Red Devils receiving All-Jayhawk Conference recognition.
Davis Jr. was named to the All-Jayhawk Conference first team while sophomore guard Jayson Demcher was selected for the second team and freshman guard Moses Stephenson was selected for the third team.
Davis Jr. was also named to the Jayhawk Conference Freshman of the Year. Over 29 starts, Davis Jr., averaged 18.7 points per game over 29 starts with a team-leading 541 points.
Davis Jr. also had a team-leading 50 steals, more than doubled his nearest finisher in assists with 114 and 3-pointers with 62. Davis Jr. was second in rebounds with 156 boards.
Demcher was Allen’s leading rebounder with 170s boards. He was second in scoring with 402 total points while averaging 13.9 points per game. He was third in steals with 30 and third in assists with 54.
Stephenson was third in team scoring with 355 points, averaging 12.2 points per game. His 31 steals ranked second among the Red Devils.
Stephenson was also fifth in rebounds with 97 boards and sixth in assists with 33.
