BUFFALO — Emma Louk scored all 14 of her points in the first half as Marmaton Valley High’s girls jumped out to a big lead and didn’t look back Tuesday at Altoona-Midway’s gymnasium.

Reagan Marshall added nine points to the Wildcats’ 32-18 victory.

The win lifts Marmaton Valley to 3-19 on the season with one more road game Friday at Uniontown left in the regular season.

Louk scored 11 points in the first quarter as Marmaton Valley raced to a 13-3 lead.

The MV offense slowed from there as the Lady Jets stayed with 18-8 at halftime and 24-15 after three quarters.

Marshall gave the Wildcats a fourth-quarter lift with three buckets, including a 3-pointer.

Andie Carr added five for the Wildcats.

Jasa Pankaskie scored 11 for Altoona-Midway.

The Wildcats will be the eighth seed in the Class 1A-II playoffs, and will host Peabody-Burns (1-17) Tuesday. The winner will take on top-seeded Hutchinson-Central Christian (20-2) on March 2.
