ARMA — Crest High’s volleyball team capped a spotless trip to Crawford County Tuesday, with both the Lady Lancer varsity and junior varsity squads going 2-0 on the day.
On the varsity side, Crest topped host Northeast-Arma in straight sets, 25-15, 25-22, before dispatching Altoona Midway, 25-18, 25-12.
“It was great to see the girls playing together, more focused, and with confidence,” Lady Lancer head coach Abigail Hermreck said. “We passed so much better and were able to run more plays and be more aggressive.”
Crest registered 38 kills on the night, and delivered a 92% service game.
There were several stars of note.
— Senior Aubrey Holloran had nine kills, nine assists, led with 92% in digs and had six aces. She also led the team in serve receive passing, to go with one assist, one blocking assist and four kills.
— Junior Lindsey Godderz had 10/10 with 100% serving and led the team in free ball passing.
— Junior Anna Hermreck had three kills, two assists and 80% serving.

— Sophomore McKenna Hammond was 26/26 with 100% serving and led with six aces. She led the team in serve receive passing, had one assist, one blocking assist, and four kills.
— Sophomore Sydney Stephens led with a solo block and two blocking assists, along with six kills.
— Sophomore Haylee Beckmon had 100% serving, two assists and two kills.
— Sophomore Brinley McGhee had three kills, two assists and 93% serving.
— Freshman Kayla Hermreck led the team with 11 kills and 11 assists, had 85% serving and one blocking assist.
CREST’s JV squad went to three sets but won both matches against Northeast and Altoona-Midway.
Freshman Brooklynn Jones and sophomore Alyssa Adams led the team with six aces each. Freshman Andie Burnett had four aces. Freshman Caty Nolan led the team with four kills. Junior Vivian Noah had three kills. Sophomore Kamryn Luedke and freshman Kaylee Allen each had a kill. Freshman Lily Blaufuss had an ace and led the team in passing.
