ROSALIA — Southern Coffey County High’s girls had control from start to finish Tuesday, downing host Flinthills High School 56-19.
“It was a good win for us going into the Christmas break,” Lady Titan head coach Jeff True said. “The girls did a good job controlling the boards and were able to cut down on the turnovers.”
Southern Coffey County led 19-5 after one quarter and 33-11 at the break. Their margin grew to 49-15 after three.
Ashton Isch scored 16 of her game-high 23 points in the first half to pace the Lady Titans. She also had five assists. Sarah Webb added 11 points and seven rebounds. Taylor Stephens also had seven boards. Katelyn Rogers had three steals.
The Lady Titans connected on 21 of 50 field goals for a 42-percent clip, while hitting 3 of 4 three-pointers.
There was no report from the Southern Coffey County boys contest.
Both squads will be at home Jan. 3 to host Olpe.
