CHERRYVALE  — Some postgame venting led to damage in the locker room at Cherryvale High School’s football stadium Saturday.
A Humboldt High player admitted to causing the damage following the Cubs’ 31-0 loss to Cherryvale in the Class 3A state playoffs.
K.B. Criss, USD 258 superintendent of schools, said he and the player have apologized, and the player — who was not identified because of USD 258’s student confidentiality policies — will pay for the repairs.
