ARMA — Marmaton Valley High’s volleyball squad came up short in its bid for victory Tuesday at the Northeast-Arma triangular.

The Wildcats stood toe to toe with host Northeast for much of their first set, before the Vikings rattled off five straight points to take the lead for good in a 25-18 win.

Kyla Sander gave MV an early boost in the second set, serving up five points in a row, but the Vikings again took control, this time with an 8-0 run to win set 2, 25-17.
