MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s boys beat visiting Oswego 26-23 Monday in A-team play.
The Wildcats led 11-8 at halftime. They had to rally from an 18-15 deficit in the fourth quarter. Marmaton Valley outscored Oswego 11-5 in the period.
Brady Newman scored 11 points for the Wildcats. Keagan Boyd added six points.
Gage Adams scored four while Dane Myers scored three and Cody Wilson had two.
The B-team game went to Oswego 22-18. Chad Starliper had 10 points for Marmaton Valley while Wilson scored six and Jake Kale had two points.
