A call is out for teams to fill a benefit men’s slo-pitch softball tournament. The tournament is June 25-26 at Iola’s Riverside Park.
The tournament is sponsored by the Allen County Kids Wrestling Club. Proceeds go to the club.
This is a matching-funds event by Modern Woodmen of American. Modern Woodmen will match up to $1,000.
Entry fee is $120 per team and the deadline is Wednesday. They are looking to draw 16 teams.
The tournament format will be determined on the number of entries.
The tournament starts at 9 a.m. June 25. Team awards will be presented.
