BURLINGTON — Iola High’s junior varsity baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader Friday at Burlington, falling 10-3 and 5-2.
Kohl Endicott took the loss in the opener, giving up eight hits and three walks in three innings. He struck out six. Brice Aiello gave up two hits and two walks with a strikeout in his inning of work.
Coleson Wiggin had two singles. Aiello, Ben Cooper, Endicott, Jake Gumfory and Garrett Wade added singles.
In game two, Brock Peters singled twice. Cooper doubled and Mason Snavely laced a single.
Cooper took the loss, giving up three hits and five walks in four innings. He struck out three.
