INDEPENDENCE — Iola High’s Nick Jacobs shot a 92 Monday and earned the fourth-place medal at the Independence SEK Junior Varsity Golf Tournament.
Jacobs led the Mustangs to fourth place in the 18-hole tournament. Iola had a 412 total. Coffeyville won it with a 363.
Hayden Wolf shot a 100 for Iola while Rocky Smith had a 108. Lee Berg carded a 112.
Also for Iola, John Hutton had a 126 and Dean Headley shot a 131.
Scott Stricker of Independence won with an 88. Ben Wright of Coffeyville also shot an 88.
