CHANUTE — Iola Middle School’s wrestling team concluded its season Thursday at the Royster Middle School tournament in Chanute.
Taking first place in their respective weight brackets were Jake Gumfory, Jonathan Tidd, Kaleb Mock, Andrew Garber and Trey Colborn. All went undefeated in match competition.
Second place went to Tryston Ingle, Gus Hopkins, Brice Aiello, Alex Bauer and Wyatt Hines. Ingle, Hopkins, Aiello and Bauer each went 2-1 while Hines was 1-1.
Trevor Cox, Brett Taylor, Chandler House, Jordan Long and Daniel Ware were all 1-2 in match competitions and placed third. Stormy Reed also took third.
Zach Breithaupt and Brock Peters went 0-3.
