The Lady Red Devil Summer Softball Clinic is June 16-17. It is for girls ages 18 and under.
The camp will cover skills needed to become successful and a complete softball player. ACCC assistant coach Jamie Amerine provides individual instructon as will returning players from the 2010 ACCC softball team.
Cost of the clinic is $40 per camper, which includes a free pink Allen Softball T-shirt.
Registration deadline is Monday.
Girls ages 10 and under will check in at 8:30 a.m. June 16 at the ACCC softball field. The camp session is 9 a.m. to noon.
At 12:30 p.m., girls ages 11-18 check in at the field. Their session is 1-4 p.m.
Campers need to bring a ball glove, a bat, cleats, tennis shoes and a water bottle.
Skills to be covered during the two-day clinic are hitting, bunting and base running on offense plus defensive skills of fielding and throwing. There also will be drills for pitchers and catchers.
