There will be a send-off for Iola High’s three wrestlers qualified for state Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
Senior Marcus Sullivan, sophomore Stephen McDonald and freshman Mike Armstrong leave Thursday for the 2011 Kansas Class 4A State Wrestling Tournament in Salina.
Those wishing to participate should meet on the east side of the Iola High building, Cottonwood Street, by 11:20 a.m.
The Mustang wrestlers along with head coach Ron Schomaker and assistant coach Rick Horton are headed to Salina for the tournament. Tournament action begins at 10 a.m. Friday at the Bicentennial Center.
