Two senior Iola High track athletes have been suspended.
According to IHS track head coach Marvin Smith, Kyle Heffern and Ralph Shafer will not compete at Friday’s Class 4A regional track meet. There was an incident at the school Sunday evening involving several students including Heffern and Shafer, Smith said.
