With weather forecasts predicting rain through Wednesday, multiple athletic directors announced the postponement of area activities Tuesday morning.
More than six area high schools planning to participate in Tuesday’s Humboldt Invitational cross country race had to make other plans. Instead of running Tuesday, Humboldt High School officials announced plans to host the event Monday, October 6.
Allen Community College announced it will postpone Wednesday’s men’s
and women’s soccer games as forecasted rains continue rolling through the area. The Red Devils were scheduled to play Jayhawk Conference foe Pratt Community College Wednesday, but school officials announced the game will be rescheduled for October 25. The women will take the field at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m.
