HUMBOLDT — The basketball season may have ended for the Humboldt High Cubs earlier than expected or wanted, but the team did get some good news this week.
Kason Siemens and Markiz Pulliam were named to the Tri-Valley All-League team. Siemens averaged 14.6 points per game and 2.7 assists per game. Pulliam also scored 14.6 points per game and grabbed 6 rebounds per game.
Justin Meins was selected as an honorable mention. Meins averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5 assists per game.
Humboldt finished 17-5 this season, losing to Eureka in the semifinals of the Class 3A Sub-State Tournament.
